Coffee is one of the most commonly purchased products in the United States. Actually about 400 million cups of coffee are sold every single day!
The human body is a pretty amazing and complex thing. to celebrate the human body, and our summer exhibition Body Worlds & The Brain, we made some eye-catching visits to two of our community partners who know a lot about the human form - The Richmond Ballet and The Downtown YMCA.
The brain is the central cerebral powerhouse of our nervous system and carries out commands that involve, well, the entire body! This vital organ takes up about 20% of the oxygen we take in and is a mere 2% of our body mass.
The human foot is a pretty remarkable part of our bodies. 26 bones working together to do some cool things that keep our lives interesting. This is definitely a huge part in keeping us moving and keeping our lives interesting.
Can you roll your tongue? What color are your eyes? Do you have freckles? Your genetic makeup is unlike any other in this world. Don’t believe us? Compare yourself to thousands of other Museum guests to grasp just how unique you are.
