The Science Museum of Virginia’s internship program provides an environment for college and high-school students to partake in the daily operations of the Museum and expand their educational experience outside of the classroom. Internships are pre-arranged, structured learning experiences generally targeted towards a specific project. Interns also participate in daily Museum activities. A designated supervisor assigns intern projects.
Part-time and full-time internship opportunities are available during the spring, summer, and fall semesters. All internships are unpaid. Positions are open to high school, college, graduate students, and career changers. All interns must be at least 16 years of age.
