Do you love jewelry but hate the idea of contributing to the pollution of our planet? Then this Maker Workshop is for you! Learn how to make beautiful jewelry out of recycled plastic. You'll be amazed at what you can create with just a few simple materials. Best of all, you'll be doing your part to help the environment. Come handcraft your own unique and beautiful jewelry in The Forge that is sure to impress!
Tools used in this workshop include plastic, scissors, clothing iron and metal trays. Skills used include material exploration, design and creative re-use.
This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on August 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 28, 30 and 31.

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 11 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
