Explore the art of bookbinding by creating your own journal in this exciting maker workshop in The Forge! As a bonus, you'll have a unique outlet for self-expression, including a way to reduce stress and promote wellness. Tools used in this Maker Workshop include scissors/utility knife, paper, needle, thread and awl. Skills used include design, measurement, sewing, cutting and knotting.

This workshop will be held at, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on February 1, 2, 3, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 27, 28 and 29.

Forge Workshops are included with Museum admission. Advance registration is required and can be done in person at the Guest Services desk or by talking with a Forge Facilitator. Click below to purchase your tickets to the Museum.

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants must be 8 years old or older, and participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
