Learn how Newton’s laws of motion apply to designing super-fast and safe cars!
December 27–January 2
Newton may have described his laws of motion before cars were around, but their ability to go-and stop-depend on them! From winning the race to developing seatbelts, come investigate aspects of force and motion that need to be considered when engineering cars. This special demonstration corresponds with our event The Fast and the Curious.
Check our daily schedule for demonstrations occurring during your visit.
Demonstrations are explorations where participants watch and engage with a Museum educator who showcases amazing scientific experiments to guests.
