Come utilize fundamental building materials such as Legos, Knex, and craft supplies to harness their potential to create some incredible vehicle designs. Test your creation by racing it down our track, then fine-tune your design to see if you can beat the clock. Explore the synergy of innovation and fun in an unforgettable race to remember.

Tools used in this challenge include Lego, Knex and craft materials. Skills used include creative thinking, engineering and design.

This Maker Challenge will take place on the following dates: September 6, 7, 8 and 9. Check our daily schedule prior to your visit.

About Maker Challenges

Maker Challenges are included with Museum admission and are designed for learners of all ages. Use your creativity and critical thinking skills to build solutions to fun challenges! New and different challenges happen each month.

Stop by the Forge anytime during Maker Challenge hours! No registration is required and you can stay for 15 minutes or the entire duration of the challenge – it's up to you!

Advance registration is not required, but space is limited to 25 participants at a time. All participants must be at least 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
