It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s an interactive science opportunity for all your super family and friends! Join us on Friday, January 17, for our first Science After Dark of 2025. Whether you have to fly, leap tall buildings in a single bound or take the Batmobile, make sure you’re at the Science Museum for a super start to your weekend with this after-hours event.

Charge up your evening by learning about static electricity and see how superheros take flight. Explore ziplines for your future skyscraper crimefighting and test your super strength. Learn about real spidey senses by visiting arachnids in the Animal Lab. Little sidekicks can make capes in LightPlace and masks in the Art Lab. Plus, there will be trivia with an elastic opportunity to bounce around and celebrate your win.

Even superheroes deserve some time to take in a show, so learn about some astronomical superpowers in a live astronomy program in The Dome.

Be a hero to your future scientists and bring them to this super-sized, super-scienced and super fun event!

Capes, boots and other family friendly superhero accessories are encouraged but, please, leave the masked crusaders at home. Our x-ray vision can’t see through costume masks, so they’re not allowed.
