Guests aged 60+ are invited to explore the art of crafting stunning ornaments with dried flowers
Inspired by the pollinator plants featured in The Green, guests will make take-home ornaments using dried flowers to spruce up holiday decorations. The Science Museum will provide the supplies so guests just need to bring their imagination.
While making their creations, guests will learn about ecosystems and biodiversity, along with the health and environmental benefits of The Green. To help energize the ornament-making, the Science Museum will provide complimentary coffee.
This program is designed to engage seniors 60+ by connecting them to each other, helping them exercise their creativity, encouraging them to discover science all around them and deepening their appreciation of nature.
Thanks to the generous support of Genworth, Senior Mornings are free and open to the public. Advance registration is required. Senior Mornings programming does not include admission to the Science Museum.
This Senior Mornings event has a max capacity of 25.
