Expedition Environment

Campers will learn about environments all over the world and what it takes to survive there.

This camp is sold out. Click here to add your name to the waitlist.

Our planet has thousands of environments, each offering benefits and challenges to their inhabitants. Campers will learn about environments all over the world and what it takes to survive there.

What is life like in different natural surroundings? What creatures and plants live there and how do they survive? What might humans need to survive there? Campers will spend each day traveling to a new environment, from huge areas like the Arctic or the desert, all the way down to small spaces like under a log or a drop of water.

Since we aren’t really leaving the Science Museum, we shouldn’t hear: “are we there yet?”

Pricing

Summer camp is $300 for members and $350 for non-members. Camp fees include a daily snack, camp t-shirt, water bottle and all camp activities. Campers will need to bring their own lunch to help energize them for our scientific adventures.

Schedule

Camps will be held from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday through Friday. After-camp care is available until 5:30 p.m. for $50 per week, per child to help make these extraordinary experiences possible for all schedules. Families must register prior to using this service.
