From deserts and caves to ice and snow, plants are determined to grow everywhere! Campers will nurture their green thumbs and grow their knowledge about the science of horticulture.
How can you tell one plant from another? Are plants that we just discovered different from those that we’ve known about for hundreds of years? How can you grow plants at home in gardens and greenhouses? And what about growing plants in space?!?
Maybe after gaining lots of plant knowledge, campers will eat more veggies. Maybe?!
Summer camp is $300 for members and $350 for non-members. Camp fees include a daily snack, camp t-shirt, water bottle and all camp activities. Campers will need to bring their own lunch to help energize them for our scientific adventures.
Camps will be held from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday through Friday. After-camp care is available until 5:30 p.m. for $50 per week, per child to help make these extraordinary experiences possible for all schedules. Families must register prior to using this service.
