Please Note: Maker Camp is currently sold out

Creating, constructing and testing. These are the building blocks for this camp. Explore engineering, art, nature and more! Let your inner maker shine as you do some tinkering and build some cool stuff! Makers will design, prototype, and build various things. Discover skills using hand tools, building methods, and construction. Are you ready for the challenge?

Summer camp is $250 for members and $300 for non-members. Camp fees include a daily snack, camp t-shirt, water bottle and all camp activities. Campers will need to bring their own lunch to help energize them for our scientific adventures.

Our campers are divided into two groups - rising 1–3 and 4–6 graders - so we can tailor activities for each age group. Camps include opportunities to explore the Museum, visit our Dome Theater and participate in a variety of Live Science Programs. Campers will also get a chance to experience our summer touring exhibition Tyrannosaurus: Meet the Family.

Camps will be held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. After-camp care is available until 5:30 p.m. for $50 per week per child to help make these extraordinary experiences possible for all schedules. Families must register prior to using this service.
