Help us build rovers and rockets and learn the skills needed to live on another planet!

Week of July 19–23 | Sold Out

Please Note: Mission to Mars is currently sold out

Join us and experience some blast your socks off science! What does it take to travel to and live on another planet? Learn about plans to travel back to the moon to prepare for a future trip to Mars. We’ll explore the history of Mars exploration and follow news about the most recent Mars rover, Perseverance, as we build our own rovers and rockets, learn about eating and cooking in space, build clothing and shelters to protect astronauts and more!

Summer camp is $250 for members and $300 for non-members. Camp fees include a daily snack, camp t-shirt, water bottle and all camp activities. Campers will need to bring their own lunch to help energize them for our scientific adventures.

Our campers are divided into two groups - rising 1–3 and 4–6 graders - so we can tailor activities for each age group. Camps include opportunities to explore the Museum, visit our Dome Theater and participate in a variety of Live Science Programs. Campers will also get a chance to experience our summer touring exhibition Tyrannosaurus: Meet the Family.

Camps will be held from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. After-camp care is available until 5:30 p.m. for $50 per week per child to help make these extraordinary experiences possible for all schedules. Families must register prior to using this service.
