Create a solar powered USB charging circuit with this simple soldering project in The Forge! Tools used in this Maker Workshop include soldering iron, solder, flush diagonal cutters and wires / wire cutters. Skills used include layout / design, circuitry and soldering.

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on August 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27.

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
