What:
The Science Museum of Virginia is offering a new dining experience for guests, as Bean Sprouts recently opened in the Rotunda.
Bean Sprouts is a women-founded and owned, healthy café that serves a wide variety of food and beverage options, including freshly-made sandwiches, salads, bowls, smoothies, espresso drinks, sweets and more options. Bean Sprouts also offers a menu for younger guests called “Imaginibbles.”
When:
Bean Sprouts is open 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m., seven days a week through Labor Day. The Science Museum and Bean Sprouts are closed on Mondays from September 14–February 22.
Why:
Bean Sprouts’ award-winning Imaginibbles children’s menu empowers kids to make their own healthy choices. The menu also offers adults a variety of choices and a gourmet coffee bar. Bean Sprouts offers catering options, which can be utilized by birthday parties or special event rentals at the Science Museum. Bean Sprouts adheres to clean ingredient guidelines and features organic and sustainable foods, compostable packaging and eco-friendly design.
Who:
Bean Sprouts serves guests looking for a meal, snack, refreshment or caffeinated jolt before, during or after their visit. Local residents or those visiting other businesses in the area are also welcome; admission is not required to visit the café.
