Maker Workshop: Crash Test Cars

Head into The Forge to take on the Crash Test Car! Your job? Build the fastest, toughest mini car you can—using craft materials like straws, tape, wheels, and a whole lot of imagination. Then it’s time to send it flying down our crash track to see if it can survive a wild, high-speed smash!

Can your car keep it together, or will it go out in a blaze of cardboard glory? There’s only one way to find out!

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26.

About Maker Workshops

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
