Join us for an unforgettable night full of exploration and adventure.
Friday, March 21, at 5 p.m.
to Saturday, March 22, at 9 a.m.
Were you getting curious when we'd host another Curiosity Camp In? The wait is over! In October, we're staying open late for our next fan-favorite general public camp in. Grab family members, friends, scout troop members, neighbors … whoever you’d like to join you for this overnight adventure at the Science Museum!
Friday night is packed with live demos. Experience our awe-inspiring Science on a Sphere. Illuminated images from NOAA are projected on a six-foot-diameter sphere suspended from the ceiling. Then get radical while watching an educator showcase various chemical reactions. Through fire and foam and lots of other substances in between, learn about acids and bases as well as exothermic and endothermic reactions.
After a star-studded custom live astronomy show in The Dome, it's lights out for a memorable “camping” experience inside your favorite museum.
On Saturday, after fueling up from breakfast, campers can explore the Science Museum's numerous exhibitions, including the new touring exhibition MathAlive! to discover the fascinating ways math shapes music, sports, movies, games and more. Campers can also take advantage of early access to the gift shop to purchase items to keep the STEM exploration shining bright at home.
Curiosity Camp In takes place from Friday, March 21, at 5 p.m. to Saturday, March 22, at 9 a.m. Activities are designed for campers age 8–12, but anyone older than 7 may attend.
Can’t make this camp in? Don’t worry: we have another one coming up May 3-4! Stay tuned for details.
