Want to make an interesting and beautiful piece of art? Why not explore the Japanese art of Gyotaku, or fish printing. While we won't be using real fish, we will be using fish models, rice paper, ink and paint brushes.

Come hone your skills in recycling and creative re-use as well as pattern and color design.

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on December 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.

About Maker Workshops

Forge Workshops are included with Museum admission. Advance registration is required and can be done in person at the Guest Services desk or by talking with a Forge Facilitator. Click below to purchase your tickets to the Museum.

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
