In honor of our touring exhibition Ultimate Dinosaurs, learn how to make your own dinosaur plushie in The Forge! Dinosaurs are one of the most diverse groups of reptiles inhabiting the world millions of years ago. They also make for adorable and cuddly plushies that are easy to sew! With some simple materials and tips from us, you can create a dino-mite souvenir to remind you of your incredible time at the Science Museum.

Tools used in this workshop include needle, thread, shark templates and hot glue gun. Skills used include running stitch, whip stitch and using textile patterns.

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on June 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 30.

About Maker Workshops

Forge Workshops are included with Science Museum admission. Advance registration is required for all guests including members. Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 11 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
