Vote for Science!

Elect to spend November 5 at the Science Museum enjoying your favorite giant screen films. We’re doing HVAC work in the building. Because we have to close some spaces, we’re expanding our offerings in The Dome for one day only.

On Election Day, $10 gets you a ticket to experience one Dome feature, admission to MathAlive! and free popcorn.

On November 5, we’re showing six films in The Dome. That’s two more shows than we usually have on the schedule on a Tuesday! And we’re bringing back some of our most popular films that you can’t see at any other times in November. Here’s the schedule:

• 10 a.m.: Secrets of the Sea
• 11 a.m.: Superpower Dogs
• 12 p.m.: Animal Kingdom: A Tale of Six Families
• 2 p.m.: Great Bear Rainforest
• 3 p.m.: Volcanoes: The Fires of Creation
• 4 p.m.: Oceans: Our Blue Planet

Please note: due to construction, only The Dome, MathAlive! and concessions will be open. All other parts of the Science Museum are closed on November 5.

Registration Information

The $10 admission gets each guest entry into the MathAlive! touring exhibition, one Dome film and a free small popcorn. Additional Dome tickets may be purchased for $5 each onsite.

EBT cardholders may purchase discounted tickets through the Museums For All program onsite. Teacher, military and library pass discounts are not eligible for this special event.

Members can use a Dome pass or purchase a ticket for $5. Members can bring a friend and use their guest passes to cover admission. Member guest passes must be redeemed onsite. Additional Dome features will cost member guests $5. Members and their guests receive one free small popcorn per ticket.

All guests–including members–are encouraged to reserve tickets online before November 5. Each film can only accommodate 250 guests. Seating in The Dome is first come, first serve. Dome films start promptly at the time listed. The Science Museum will not allow guests to enter The Dome once a film has started.

Accessible seating is available in The Dome. Please notify Guest Services if anyone in your party needs accessible seating.
