Get ready to design, build, and race in this exciting hands-on activity in The Forge!
Get ready to design, build, and race! In this hands-on activity, makers of all ages will work together to create a custom downhill toy car track using cardboard, wooden stands, and connector clips. Explore the science of motion, engineering, and design as you experiment with ramps, curves, and collisions. Will your car speed to the finish or fly off the track? There’s only one way to find out—build, test, and tweak your way to the ultimate ride!
This challenge will be held during the following dates in July: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30 and 31.
Stop by The Forge anytime during Maker Challenge hours. No registration is required and you can stay for 15 minutes or the full 2 hours!
