Get ready for a monstrously fun workshop in The Forge! Learn the basics of screen printing while creating your very own multicolor, vintage-inspired monster mask! Experiment with layers, colors and textures as you discover how this classic printing process works. At the end, you'll walk away with a spooky cool one-of-a-kind mask that's part science and part art.

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on October 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.

About Maker Workshops

Forge Workshops are included with Science Museum admission. Advance registration is required for all guests including members. Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
