Maker Workshop - Monster Plushies

Get ready for a ghoulishly good time as you learn the art of hand sewing by creating your very own miniature plushie in The Forge. Whether you want to craft a cute, cuddly character or a creepy creature, our expert Forge Facilitators will be there to guide you through every step, from selecting the eeriest fabrics to adding those perfectly haunting details. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete novice, this Maker Workshop guarantees a fang-tastic time and a bewitching keepsake to cherish.

Tools used in this Maker Workshop include scissors, utility knife, cardboard, tracing paper, cardstock, glue and tape. Skills used include measurement, design, cutting and sewing.

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on the following dates in October: 1, 2, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31.

About Maker Workshops

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
