Everyone loves receiving personalized cards, especially from you! Why not make your next card even more special by adding a fun surprise? Unleash your creativity by crafting vibrant pop-up greeting cards. You’ll learn simple papercrafting techniques to create charming cards that open up to reveal delightful surprises.

Tools used in this Maker Workshop include scissors, Paper, copper tape/wire, LEDs, and batteries. Skills used include creativity, paper and crafting.

This workshop will be held Monday–Saturday at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on the follow dates December 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

About Maker Workshops

Forge Workshops are included with Science Museum admission. Advance registration is required for all guests including members. This can be done online when buying your tickets or in person at the Guest Services desk. Please note, Forge Workshops often fill up quickly. Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
