Do you hate the idea of contributing to the pollution of our planet? Then this Maker Workshop is for you! Learn how to craft a beautiful piece of jewelry, a unique bookmark, or a funky guitar pick by reusing plastic from failed 3-D prints. You'll be amazed at what you can create with just a few simple materials. Best of all, you'll be doing your part to help the environment. Come handcraft your own unique creation in The Forge!

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on August 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30.

About Maker Workshops

Forge Workshops are included with Science Museum admission. Advance registration is required for all guests including members. This can be done online when buying your tickets or in person at the Guest Services desk. Please note, Forge Workshops often fill up quickly. Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
