In honor of our touring exhibition BODY WORLDS: The Anatomy of Happiness come learn how to make your own organ plush pal in The Forge! During this interactive workshop our expert Forge Facilitators will help you to unleash your creativity while guiding you through each stitch. Using simple materials and tips from us, you can create a unique soft toy that will surely be a hit with kids and adults alike.

Tools used in this workshop include felt fabric, needle, thread and templates. Skills used include running stitch, whip stitch and using textile patterns

This workshop will be held at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27.

Forge Workshops are included with Science Museum admission. Advance registration is required for all guests including members. Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 8 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
