Get tips for improving your gardening skills in the heat of a Virginia summer from the Science Museum’s horticultural team. Hear how they keep our greenspace thriving in the warmer months.
After that, learn a special technique to create cyanotype art. You’ll utilize solar power to make a take-home keepsake shaped by the Sun.
To help energize the group for this special activity, the Science Museum will provide complimentary coffee.
This program is designed to engage seniors 60+ by connecting them to each other, helping them exercise their creativity, encouraging them to discover science all around them and deepening their appreciation of STEM.
Thanks to the generous support of Genworth, Senior Mornings are free and open to the public. Advance registration is required. This Senior Mornings event is limited to the first 30 registrants.
Senior Mornings programming does not include admission to the Science Museum.
