Delve into the intricacies of tension and friction in this exciting hands-on woodworking workshop in The Forge! Utilizing basic woodworking techniques makers will construct a foley arts creak box enabling you to bring spine-tingling spooky sounds to life.

This challenge will be offered Monday-Saturday at 1—2 p.m. and 2—3 p.m. on October 7, 8, 9 , 10, 11, 12, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26.

About Maker Workshops

Forge Workshops are included with Museum admission. Advance registration is required and can be done in person at the Guest Services desk or by talking with a Forge Facilitator. Click below to purchase your tickets to the Museum.

Maker Workshops are 45-minute experiences led by Forge Facilitators. These project-based workshops result in a take-home item and are limited to 12 participants. All participants in this workshop must be 11 years or older. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
