The Garner Pavilion is located on the western side of the Science Museum, nestled amongst Richmond's historic and treasured train canopies. This outdoor setting is the perfect spot to host a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in one space. Antique trains combined with unique elements like the Aluminaut (the world's first aluminum submarine) and our original Earth Kugel make for a scenic masterpiece. Additionally, this spacious, open-air area is perfect for festivals and vendors who want to sell their goods in a picturesque and welcoming atmosphere.
Located in the Garner Pavilion are several unique trains: a C&O Steam Engine, a RF&P Kitchen Car, a B&O Caboose and Car ONE! All make for perfect photo backdrops.
See the world's first aluminum submarine! After years of development, testing and fabrication, the Aluminaut was officially launched in 1964 and served many notable missions throughout history.
