How much fun will this event be? Let us count the ways!

Join us for a celebration of math, art and culture. As part of this year’s Bridges Conference, the Science Museum is hosting a special Family Day filled with hands-on activities, poetry and film screenings. Conference participants from around the globe will showcase ways to engage with mathematics, art, music and architecture through puzzles, games, workshops, demos and more.

While you’re at the Science Museum, be sure to visit Form Over Function, an exhibition featuring mind-bending, math-inspired works of art from previous Bridges Conferences.

Bridges Family Day activities are free and open to the public. Stations will be in the Science Museum’s Rotunda and Forum. Admission is required for access to Science Museum exhibitions, labs and programming.

Richmond, Virginia, is hosting the 2024 annual conference for the Bridges Organization, a group dedicated to both connecting those working in mathematics, art, music, architecture and culture and connecting the public to those disciplines.
