As the glaciers retreated at the end of the last ice age, they left connected rivers, lakes and wetlands across North America's heartland.

Today, these largely unknown water-highways remain an oasis for wildlife, from the herds of bison roaming the Great Plains to the swaying grasslands, wildflowers and vital honeybees pollinating crops to the millions of magnificent birds migrating along these "flyways."

Wings Over Water, narrated by Michael Keaton, tells the compelling story of three amazing bird species: the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler and the Mallard Duck. Featuring extraordinary footage of their fascinating behaviors, the film showcases the wetlands they depend upon for survival.

Prepare to be captivated by the triumphs and challenges of these remarkable creatures that defy all odds and soar across mountains, deserts, cities and forests as they travel home to raise their young.

Wings Over Water is produced by Dorsey Pictures Film, SK Films and MaxMcGraw Wildlife Foundation. It has a runtime of 45 minutes.
