We now have seven and a half billion people on Earth and counting! A little over half of those folks live in urban areas, some of them in mega cities. As the number of people grows across the globe, so will the number of mega cities.

There are hundreds of thousands of planes taking to the air at any given time to get us to our vacation destinations, family, meetings, and whatnot. We are all well aware that the Earth's climate is changing, but can that impact airplanes?

There are a lot of concerns over technology taking human jobs, but in many cases, technology can actually help humans be better at their jobs. One example is drone technology used for disaster and emergency rescues.

In a cool turn of events, Facebook “liked” us! The social media giant just announced it will be building its newest state-of-the-art data center in Virginia! Data centers require a lot of energy, but Facebook has some cutting-edge plans.

Hurricane Maria left Puerto Rico decimated in September 2017. While recovery efforts are underway, the island still faces many challenges to truly get things up and running. Google has offered to help bring the hurricane-battered island some help in their communication infrastructure using a pretty awesome approach.
