This creative space is for teens to hang out, mess around and geek out in an open, makerspace environment.
Created using the principle of HOMAGO (hanging out, messing around and geeking out), The Mix is a membership-based, open-ended makerspace environment centered on allowing teens the freedom to explore new skills and creative pursuits.
Teens can join their peers, as well as qualified mentors, in exploring projects in electronics, coding, computer science, 3D design/printing, woodworking, sound/music/video editing, and much more! In addition to “open making” time, The Mix also offers mentor led workshops for those teens who are interested.
The Mix is free to teens 13–18. You can apply for a free annual membership below. Explore STEM, make new friends, and exercise your creativity in our teens-only makerspace!

Mix Worldbuilding Club
3–6 p.m.
Join us for our very first Mix Club Night! We'll be testing a new tabletop RPG set at a fantastical school with mysteries and secrets galore! Mix members not interested in this activity can still take advantage of expanded MIX hours by bringing in a book or homework for independent study hall. Keep in mind that that Mix tools and supplies will not be available during club times.
Teens will love the judgement-free, hands-on, innovation-centered, movie-spoiler-free zone just for them.
